"Inspired by the twisted, stretched contortions I pull my body into when I am suffering a bad episode of HEDS (Hyper mobile Ehlers Danlos Syndrome), a genetic connective tissue condition that affects my joints. This series of wall mounted panels explores my need to find a position that releases the pain, for me it is all about the pleasure that comes afterwards. There is tension in it, yes, but there is peace too. I would love to create this piece on a much larger scale."
